Join us at the Seattle Chinese Garden with Wei Dai in learning about Dragon ribbon dance and dragon lanterns, a traditional Chinese craft that dates back to more than 700 years ago from Jiangxi province! Participants will get to make their very own dragon lantern in preparation for 元宵节 (yuanxiao jie) or the Lantern Festival which marks the conclusion of New year’s festivities. All-ages are welcome to participate
The workshop will go from 1:00pm to 3:00pm on February 28th, at the Chan Education Center classroom 102 at the Seattle Chinese Garden.
Please purchase tickets at the link below. The ticket goes towards covering the cost of materials, but no one is turned away for lack of funds!
