GiveBig 2022

Dear Friends of the Garden,

Do you love the Seattle Chinese Garden? Will you include the Garden in your GiveBig donations this year? The last two years have been hard for all of us, but we have endured.  With your support, we have maintained the Garden.  If you haven’t visited in a while, please take time to come over.  The tree peonies are about to pop open and flowers are in bloom.  The Knowing the Spring Courtyard and the Song Mei Pavilion are both freshly repainted and looking fabulous.

Yes, the West Seattle Bridge is still closed (at least until midsummer) and it takes longer for most of us to get there. So, please come for a visit or join us for the Peony Festival on May 7th and 8th. If you can't get to the Garden, please visit our website at: www.seattlechinesegarden.org. There is a great fly-over video and lots of pictures of the garden in bloom. Or follow us on Facebook.

The Garden looks wonderful because, even during the pandemic, our staff and volunteers have been there every week, weeding and working to maintain it. And, they are now restarting the programs and activities that will foster greater understanding about Chinese arts and culture which is even more urgent in the face of current global tensions. Please take a moment to schedule your gift here and help us to earn matching money of $6,450. We so appreciate your support.

Please continue to stay safe,
